Hamlet Halloween 2025

Parade: 5:30 p.m.
Pot Luck: 5:40 p.m.
Trick-or-Treating: 6:15 p.m.
Celebrate Halloween with the annual Halloween Kids Parade and Pot Luck Dinner. All Hamlet residents are invited to participate. Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with the parade immediately followed by the pot luck. Trick-or-Treating begins approximately 6:15 p.m. after the pot luck.
Kids Parade – Hamlet kids can (and their invited friends) can show off costumes to kick off trick-or-treating. We meet at Middle Creek Ln and Dry River Ct. Parade down Dry River Ct to the Pot-Luck dinner before trick-or-treating begins.
Pot Luck Dinner – All Hamlet residents are invited to the pot-luck dinner at the bottom of Dry River Ct. We ask everyone to bring an appetizer, main course or canned drinks to share.
Ideas for sharing:
- Main courses easy for kids to handle.
- Healthy side dishes …. easy for kids to handle (it’s a theme).
- Canned drinks or bottles of water.
If you bring non-disposable platters, dishes, coolers, etc. please pick them up by 8pm.
If you can help by bringing plates, cups or other supplies, or cleanup after 8pm, please email Brian Davidson at: halloween@thedavidsons.us to coordinate. Email the same address with any other questions!
Halloween Tips
Only on Halloween: keep your front porch light off if you do not want trick-or-treaters to come to your house. Keep it on to signal you're participating.
As always please drive slowly when entering the Hamlet and watch for our little ghosts and goblins!
